While I have yet to be personally affected by the issue of IP Student Rights, I found this page to be interesting and informative for a few reasons. Firstly, it is a great reminder that just because I do not feel passionate about a specific problem does not make the problem disappear and/or stop affecting others. I really respect the students pushing to make real change in the issue of IP Student Rights. Secondly, even when I do see issues that affect me or those I know, I find myself being frustratingly and hypocritically complacent and accepting them as they are instead of going after them and fixing the things that are broken. This page was a fantastic reminder that I can make a difference as a student, even on a national level. To do this, however, I need to be prepared to plan efficiently and devote an adequate amount of time and resources to it. Thanks to the creators of this content for the spur I needed to make this world a better place through policy change.
