Bio
Tuğba Öztürk is an industrial engineering student at Istanbul Technical University with a deep passion for social impact and entrepreneurship.
Currently, Tuğba is a Growth Lead at Ludi, an ed-tech startup dedicated to creating a future with equal opportunities in higher education and the workplace. In this role, she leverages her skills in B2B sales, growth, strategy, and marketing to deliver exceptional results, aligning her work with her mission to address inequalities and support sustainable development.
Tuğba has contributed to Gen-Z representation in the workplace through her role as a Young Senate Member in Anadolu Sigorta's Young Vision program. She has also achieved several top ranks in prestigious competitions, highlighting her innovation, creativity, and teamwork skills.
Tuğba defines herself as a connector of ideas and opportunities, thriving in mentorship relationships that foster both personal growth and societal impact. She values learning from seasoned mentors as much as guiding experienced leaders through reverse mentoring, focusing on next-gen leadership that champions social progress.
Achievements
Tuğba has achieved remarkable milestones since high school and continues to excel in her endeavors, driving impact and innovation as a university student.
In high school, Tuğba and her team was awarded the 1st prize in the Research field among 83 teams from 41 countries in the FIRST ® LEGO ® League Open International.
She was also the Graphic Design Lead & Project Manager at the robotics team at her high school. Bahcesehir INTEGRA was one of the first robotics teams established in Turkey and has gained notable recognition in the FIRST Robotics Competition since 2011. During the season Tuğba was part of the team, they achieved the prize of Regional Winner.
Tuğba graduated high school with a GPA of 99 out of 100, showcasing outstanding academic performance.
As she started studying Industrial Engineering at university, she successfully completed the YetGen program, a comprehensive 132-hour course on 21st-century competencies.
She served as Coordinator of Mentor Relations at her university’s mentorship society, effectively managing mentor relationships and enhancing the program’s impact.
She also secured a top-three position at Unilever's Ideatrophy (a prestigious marketing competition), showcasing skills in creativity, teamwork, and marketing.
She was also recognized as a global finalist in an innovation competition called Make It Bright organized by JTI, demonstrating her entrepreneurial vision and motivation to create positive social impact.
