Bio
Trisha is a senior at Swarthmore, studying Applied Mathematics and Computer Science. Originally from Palo Alto, CA, Trisha has grown up in the heart of innovation: Silicon Valley. She has always been excited by taking her ideas to a reality, as evidenced by her work as the co-founder and first president of OpenBrackets, a non-profit aiming to bridge the digital divide of access to tech in Silicon Valley, through free computer science classes. As a very quantitative person, Trisha enjoys working with numbers and logically thinking through solutions. However, she enjoys interdisciplinary studies, and has greatly appreciated the holistic, liberal arts education provided by Swarthmore. She feels that without these other, non-major classes, she would miss out on many important and worldly perspectives. In her free time, Trisha loves to try new forms of exercise, play volleyball, discover new music genres, spend time outdoors, and play some of the NYT Mini Games.
