Tetis Chang is a University Innovation Fellow completing a Master’s Degree in Applied Information Technology (AIT) at George Mason University. She is currently active in both STEM outreach coordinator and a Maker. Making is a new experience that she has discovered  this past year resulting in a active participation of all things 3D printing, microcontroller, etc. As a STEM outreach coordinator on campus, she main role is to increase the numbers of women in STEM. She conducts outreach through camps and workshops to local middle and high school students.

Tetis is excited to implement programs that promote Innovation and entrepreneurship on campus through the UIF program. Many resources already exist, however there is problem with both awareness and the lack of multidisciplinary resources. One goal that Tetis is striving towards in to increase students awareness of all the possible activities that promote Innovation and entrepreneurship but also to create new opportunities such as biweekly lightning pitches through multidisciplinary participation.
