Fellow:Sean Martin
Sean Martin is a University Innovation Fellow Candidate for Fall 2015. Born and raised in a small suburb of Philadelphia, he has since moved into the
city to attend Temple University. There, he pursues his passion for science, mathematics, and technology as an electrical engineering student. He is currently a sophomore. During the semester, he works in a research lab as a participant in NASA’s STARTUP Program for undergraduates. He mainly focuses on flying and programming quadcopter drones. Moreover, he has volunteered over the past year through Temple University’s Honors Program, of which he is a member. This has included helping countless prospective Temple students in their college hunt as an Honors Ambassador as well as helping to build and renovate low income households in eastern Kentucky. He hopes to initiate meaningful change in the College of Engineering and Temple University as a whole through work with University Innovation Fellows. Outside of academics, Sean enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
