Bio
Ryan was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. Both of his parents attended and met at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) and have worked in the city their entire lives.
Ryan is a 3rd year bioinformatics student at UNO and a recipient of the Walter Scott Jr., Scholarship. Additionally, he works on projects contracted by the Department of Defense.
Ryan also has a love of service and volunteers regularly. He volunteers at the local Department of Veteran Affairs Hospital where he helps patients and their families navigate the hospital. He is involved at the Open Door Mission, a local gospel rescue mission, designing a web-based application for their use. Ryan also works to schedule volunteer experiences for his scholarship cohort.
