Bio
Penny Hu is a candidate for 2020 University Innovation Fellows. She is a sophomore at University of Richmond and she is double major in Computer Science and Business Administration with a concentration in entrepreneurship. Penny is from Hangzhou, China and this is her 4th year studying abroad in the US, she previously studied in Mississippi as a part of an exchange program called Academic Year in America and in Pennsylvania for high school. Penny has strong interests in communication and cross-cultural connections.
As an International student, Penny is extremely passionate about making more cross-cultural connections on campus and make the University more diverse. She is currently involved in the Westhampton College Government Association on campus as the External Affair Chair, she is also working as a resident assistant and a diversity student ambassador for the Office of Admission. Penny is extremely excited about the University Innovation Fellow program and she look forward to make more changes on the University campus and the world around her.
