Mitchell Leon is a Fellow at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. Mitchell is a part of the inaugural class of University Innovation Fellows and is excited to get started. He first learned about University Innovation Fellows as an intern at Young Entrepreneurs Business Week, an Oregon-based innovation and entrepreneurship camp for high school students. In this innovative atmosphere he became passionate about all thing’s entrepreneurship. Three years ago, when he first found out about this program, he made it his goal to one day become a Fellow and active in the entrepreneurship and innovation community. Three years later he maintains that same passion and excitement towards the entrepreneurial field and mindset.

Mitchell has sought to make an impact both on his campus as well as the greater Omaha business community. As a sophomore Mitchell maintained a business development internship at a local startup called America Tour Company. In this position he was able to discover the workings of a successful startup and help impact their bottom line. Mitchell has also maintained digital marketing internships with more established companies such as Amazon and Gallup. On campus Mitchell has previously made an impact with his involvement with CASE (entrepreneurship) club, 3 Day Startup, and a variety of local and international pitch competitions. Through University Innovation Fellows, Mitchell seeks to continue this impact on his campus and surrounding community with several educational opportunities such as TEDxCreightonU.
