Bio
María Noel is passionate about creativity and play as a way to connect with others, learn concepts, and discover oneself. She primarily works at the Ithaka Center (the university's entrepreneurship and innovation center) and also teaches courses such as Design of Digital Content and Platforms, and Digital Marketing for Businesses and Entrepreneurs and Digital Projects.
Her specialization at the Catholic University of Uruguay (UCU) is in digital communication and also has a Master's in Management from the Business School of the same university. Being a creative and analytical person interested in photography, graphic design, video editing, and innovative and strategic digital content. Additionally, she enjoys oil painting.
Actually, she spend time doing workshops of Futures Thinking in high schools to teenangers and also made this workshops to enterprernurs and staff of the same University in order to collectively imagine and design possible scenarios, organize efforts in future organizational plans and reflect on different visions of the future that collaborators have.
In the future, she wants to improve her knowledge of innovation, perfect her English skills, and learn about experience design and interface design.
Achievements
- She completed in 2022 a degree in public service communication, focusing on local social issues in Latin America, such as childhood, poverty, migrants, gender, human rights, and public policy.
- Participated in 2019 in a Erasmus+ conference about improve and encourage the student mobility in Latin América universities.
- Become a reference adult for the children and adolescents that I had to accompany during those 6 years.
