About Me
Lexie Headshot.jpg

Lexie Lehmann is a Junior at Columbia University studying Urban Studies and History. She is originally from the Boston area, Massachusetts. On campus, Lexie is involved with the Roosevelt Institute, an undergraduate student-run think tank, and Design for America. Lexie is humbled, and excited!, to be a member of Columbia's first cohort of University Innovation Fellows.

Lexie is passionate about design-thinking as a way of approaching problem solving, rather than a discipline confined to the area of just "design". She thinks that design thinking principles can be applied to any problem, no matter how big or small, and she looks forward to the opportunity to use design-thinking principles to solve student problems on Columbia's campus. You can reach out to her if you are interested in urban studies, the intersection of technology and policy, or her upcoming study abroad experience at the University of Melbourne in Australia!
