Bio

Greetings! I’m jasmine, and my life’s journey has been an ongoing quest to define my identity, aspirations, and future. Constantly trying to figure out the person I want to be, and the dreams one could hope to acquire. This led me to achieving my associate degree with the challenges of COVID while working in the service industry since freshman year of high school. Following graduation, I had a keen interest in the business realm, leading me to the University of Tulsa (TU) to continue my journey. Currently, a senior at TU, I am specializing in Management & Marketing, and every day is a new day for exploration and new adventures. In my first year at TU, I have branched out, allowing me to become officers of two awesome clubs this year. Beyond academics, I obtain much joy from dancing and harmonizing with my favorite tunes whether in car rides, on the way to class, with friends/family – music always brings my life vibrancy. My fascination with countless TV shows and movies stems from the valuable perspectives they offer, whether it’s reality or fiction. These narratives are full of wisdom and enlightenment that continues to enrich my understanding about the world around me. Furthermore, I have a desire to uplift individuals in the community and the university. This drives my optimism that being a part of UIF can really impact the community in one way or another. This amazing opportunity has made me full of enthusiasm and anticipation for the new adventures that lie ahead.
