Emmely Tot Mairena (she/her) is persuaing her education at Mills College. She is double majoring in Ethnic Studies and Politics, Economics, Policy and Legal Studies (PEPL) with an emphasis in legal studies. Originally from Los Angeles in California, Emmely resides in Oakland,CA where she attends school. Currently, she holds many leaderships positions on campus including Student Government President for the Associated Students of Mills College, as well as co-president of the Central American Student Alliance. In her spare time, she works with high schol youth in Upward Bound. Emmely hopes to work in higher education while still continuing her work of making education accessible for everyone.
