CJ Gershon is a University Innovation Fellow from the fall 2015 cohort. Born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico he developed a strong love of the outdoors through hiking, camping, hunting, and skiing. This love of exploration has been apparent throughout his life getting routinely lost on camping trips by always looking around the next corner to find something new. This explorative nature has transitioned into his studies as he always looks for something new to learn or a new experience to have.
At New Mexico State University, he is studying Finance and Small Business Management/Entrepreneurship. He is currently employed at Arrowhead Center, NMSU’s Business Incubator, where he does technology evaluations for University Intellectual Property and small business consulting for New Mexico companies who are developing new and innovative products. He has also interned at a Venture Capital firm in the southwest. Going forward, he plans to finish his education and pursue entrepreneurial endeavors.
