Bio

Husband. Father. Pastor. CEO. Instructor. Learner. Bryson wears many hats that have afforded him rich experiences in some of the most challenging and beautiful places around the world. From his own upbringing in poverty to winning college championships, Bryson hopes his story will encourage and inspire others to embody stories of solidarity, liberation, and grace.

Originally from Los Angeles, CA, Bryson lives and loves Northeast Ohio. He is currently a doctoral student and graduate assistant at the Levin College of Urban Affairs at Cleveland State University where his research interest is racial equity.

Fun facts: Bryson enjoys film (especially WIll Smith movies), mountain biking, interior design, and games -- all games.

Achievements

Team Captain of a National Championship collegiate football team (2007-2008). President of Fellowship of Christian Athletes at University of Mount Union (2005-2008). Chosen speaker at Division III NCAA National Championship FCA Breakfast (2007). Recipient of Joseph Montgomery Leadership Award (2008). Candidate for national collegiate Service Person of the Year award (2007-2008). Greater Akron Chamber of Commerce 30 for the Future Award (2017).
