Fellow:Bri Schlangen
Bri is a junior at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities completing a bachelors degree in Computer Engineering with a minor in product design. This
summer she participated in an internship which focused on project management and software testing at Cray Inc., and will be continuing to work there part time throughout the school year. She is the president of a student group called Tesla Works which gives students the opportunity to create any project they have an interest in. Within the university and surrounding community, she has become passionate about fostering an innovative maker community which encourages learning-by-doing and cross-discipline collaboration. This passion led to her becoming a University Innovation Fellows candidate and an active member in a start-up called CoCreateX. CoCreateX is an organization which organizes networking events at key locations in the Twin Cities area and connects driven individuals with other driven individuals to make spectacular things happen.
