Bio

Amiti Arunmozhi is an industrial designer, visual artist, dancer, and eternal student of empathy. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, she studies Industrial Design at Georgia Tech, where her days are spent sketching bold ideas, modeling intricate CAD forms, and prototyping designs that blur the line between art and utility. By night, she can often be found painting, choreographing movement, or thinking in the abstract about how people connect.

At Georgia Tech, she has worn many hats. At Design Bloc, Amiti spent a year and a half leading community-centered projects, honing her skills in user research, interviewing, and turning conversations into design insights. At the Music Technology Lab, she served as the designer on a biosensor-based wearable instrument, collaborating closely and bring the ideas of the team to life. Both roles reinforced her belief that design begins with listening and creating for people whose lives may look very different from her own.

Beyond her projects, Amiti thrives on growth. Whether it’s pursuing a computer science minor to expand her technical fluency or exploring new creative outlets outside of school, she sees each step as a chance to evolve. What she hopes to leave behind isn’t just a portfolio of work, but a legacy of kindness, curiosity, and a refusal to stay stagnant.
