Abigail is a junior bioengineering major attending Temple University. She is passionate about solving the world's most challenging medical problems using engineering approaches and devices. She is currently working in a lab to develop a soy based scaffold for injuries, and hopes one day to attend medical school or pursue her own research. In her free time Abigail is a leader in the BiologySociety and an active member in the Biomedical Engineering Society. She also volunteers in hopsitals, as well as attends a volunteering program geared towards the underprivaleged children in Philadelphia called Saturday Academy. Abigail also has a passion for design thinking and innovation, and In her free time she enjoys skiing, reading, and learning about the most recent medical advancements.
