Bio
Svenja Damberg is a Senior Research Fellow and habilitant at the Institute for Technology and Innovation Management (TIM) at the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH). She received her MSc Degree in Business and Development Studies from Copenhagen Business School, Denmark and defended her doctoral dissertation on strategic bank marketing in April 2022 at TUHH. During her time as a doctoral student, Svenja Damberg addressed research topics with a focus on strategic and sustainability marketing as well as quantitative research methods, especially structural equation modelling. She has published in journals such as Ecological Economics, the International Journal of Sports Marketing and Sponsorship and the Journal of Marketing Analytics, and presented her research at well-known international conferences, including the AMS Annual Conference. Svenja Damberg serves as a reviewer for journals such as Creativity and Innovation Management and the Journal of Marketing Analytics. The research focus of her habilitation is within the overall field of Sustainability & Innovation Management, where she addresses research topics including consumer acceptance of sustainable product innovations, sustainable business models, and organizational credibility. Moreover, Svenja Damberg has served as a University Innovation Faculty Champion since the beginning of 2022.
In her free time, Svenja likes to go on long walks with her dog Frida, practice yoga, play the violine and go kitesurfing. Svenja also enjoys learning languages, reading books and spending time with family and friends.
