Bio
Christopher Greene is an esteemed academic and innovation leader, currently serving as the Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation (CEI) at the University of North Georgia. With a tenure spanning over a 15 years as a Professor of Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship at Western Colorado University, Christopher has developed pioneering programs that blend design thinking, personal purpose, and empathy-based leadership to create impactful learning experiences. His unique approach equips students with the courage and skills needed to drive positive change, both within their communities and in the broader entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Throughout his career, Christopher has been instrumental in establishing two groundbreaking innovation centers, leveraging community-campus partnerships to build vibrant ecosystems that support aspiring entrepreneurs and foster creativity. His work has been recognized nationally, including an Outstanding Teaching Award at the Experiential Classroom Clinic, and he has secured over $750,000 in grants to support his initiatives. As a certified educator in various innovation methodologies, he brings a wealth of expertise to his role, guiding students, faculty, and community members alike in their journeys toward purposeful and impactful innovation.
Christopher holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Colorado School of Law, a Bachelor’s in Finance from the University of Wyoming, and an Innovation & Entrepreneurship Certificate from Stanford University. His extensive credentials also include certifications from IBM, the EM Kaufman Foundation, and Stanford’s d.school, reflecting his commitment to continuous learning and boundary-crossing innovation.
