Skill Exchange Sunday allows students to acquire new skills as well as learn to be more comfortable working collaboratively with strangers. Then they will sketch out their business idea and create a Business Model Canvas for their potential business. At the Poster Session, they will get feedback on the canvas from entrepreneurs. The event will be finalized by workshop/presentation from Smith’s innovation/entrepreneurship center on building a Business Model Canvas. Our intent is to create an opportunity for students to learn how to make business model canvas for their personal businesses. Business model canvases are an essential part of the business world especially for small startups that are trying to attract investors.
