When I was 18 I had the opportunity of coming to the United States to attend college with a Soccer and Academic Scholarship. Since I was young, I was amazed by the American Dream and how much innovation and hard work happens in this country. I first attended a small college, Cardinal Stritch University that shut down at the end of my first year. I had to adapt quickly and find a new place in a matter of 3 months. After contacting with more than 200 universities, I decided to continue my dream at MSOE.
My journey at MSOE has been incredible. This is my senior year , and during these 3 years being an NCAA Division III athlete taught me invaluable lessons in '''discipline, time management, and performing under pressure. My academic focus at MSOE is in '''Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning''', a field that truly excites me. My passion for AI extends beyond the classroom. I'm actively involved in the MSOE AI Club, where I apply 've had the opportunity to both serve as a research mentor. I've also channeled my interests into independent projects, such as creating an '''AI-powered video analysis system for the field MSOE men's soccer team'''. This project, which helps us track player statistics and game strategies, perfectly blends my technical workskills with my love for the sport.
