<div>Fordham promotes student innovation and entrepreneurship through formal programs and extracurricular activities. Fordham offers many different concentrations that deal with relating to innovation and entrepreneurship, from including sustainable business to and social innovation concentrationconcentrations, enabling its students to explore and learn valuable skills. Students can begin learning about innovation and entrepreneurship through classes such as "Exploring Entrepreneurship" and "Innovation and Resilience". Fordham also offers classes that allow students to pursue innovation or entrepreneurship after college, such as “Launch Your Start-Up” and “Leadership and Change”. Fordham has also implemented a new "Social Innovation Cohort" into the Gabelli Consulting Cup Integrated Project curriculum. The University houses numerous extracurricular activities and innovation spaces that further allow students to expand their knowledge outside the classroom. The Fordham Foundry and Social Innovation Collaboratory are spaces and extracurricular offerings where like-minded individuals are able to help one another and work together. The Fordham Foundry provides competitive opportunities that give students a chance to win monetary prizes based on their businesses or business ideas, such as the Pitch Challengeand Hackathon. The Foundry also hosts many events in which students can connect with entrepreneurial mentors. Additionally, the Entrepreneurship Society and the Compass Fellowship are other extracurricular outlets for students to further their interests in innovation and entrepreneurship.</div><div><br /></div>
