Jake Coddington is a second year MBA student an American entrepreneur, currently serving as both Managing Partner of Sprekk Supply Group and graduate assistant at the Office Owner of Innovation Codd Interactive. Sprekk Supply Group is an independent medical device distributor with a focus on neuromodulation and Economic Development (OIED) at SIU-Carbondaleprescription spinal bracing. His primary responsibilities include business consultation Codd Interactive is a multimedia and market research for students and local business owners, heading the Entrepreneur-in-Residence program, and assisting in the operation of the student business incubatorweb design company.
Jake is a 2019 Forbes 30 Under 30 Scholar and serves as the president of Saluki Entrepreneur Corps student organization and alumni relations chair for SIU for St. Jude.

Prior to his time at SIU-Carbondale, Jake graduated from the University of Mississippi with both a Managerial Finance and Marketing degree. At the University of Mississippi, Jake lettered in varsity basketball and was on the Southeastern Conference (SEC) academic honor roll. He was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity, a student worker and ambassador in the Center of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Tennesse Valley Authority fund manager, and a member of the financier's club, investments club, and entrepreneurship club.

Jake enjoys sports (especially basketball and football), traveling, and music. He hopes to get into strategic business consulting and one day start his own business.

Jake graduated with his MBA from Southern Illinois University - Carbondale in 2020, where he was named a 2019 Forbes 30 Under 30 Scholar<ref>https://news.siu.edu/2019/09/092519-coddington-named-forbes-under-30-scholar.php</ref> and served as the president of Saluki Entrepreneur Corps student organization, building the group from 0 to 25 active members. The group hosted speakers and networking events with prominent entrepreneurs such as Curt Jones - Founder of Dippin' Dots, Archa Jain - Cofounder/CEO of Lumos (Y-Combinator W19), and Peter Gregory - Founder of BSquare.
= Related Links =Through the University Innovation Fellows program, he was given the opportunity to travel to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Stanford University for innovation and design thinking workshops. In partnership with fellow UIF [[Fellow:Carly Kasicki|Carly Kasicki]], Jake created and co-taught the first student generated class at SIU-Carbondale, "Innovations in Sustainability". This project based class graduated 13 students and led to 4 new sustainability initiatives on campus.
