Sofia Lacayo is a 6th year medical student from the Autonomous National University of Nicaragua (UNAN-MANAGUA). Sofia works in the medical school as a promoter of innovation among students and as a speaker on entrepreneurship issues. She is also an interpreter of the faculty in international university affairs.
She has participated for 4 years in the workshop of innovation and entrepreneurship given by the University of Grand Valley Michigan and in the recreation of this workshop in different faculties of her university.
As a medical student, he has worked actively teaching other students the importance of innovating and being an entrepreneur in the health area. she is a university innovation fellow candidate and as a candidate she has been actively working in her university community developing projects and tests in innovation and thus create a change, she plans to attend the stanford university workshop in spring 2018.
