This course helps students from rural background and will brush up their academic knowledge.   The courses are: #English: Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing skills #Mathematics: Aptitude  #Environment Awareness

Micro Level Lesson plan

In teaching-learning process, systematic approach to teaching is given utmost importance. Specially designed teaching lesson plan is introduced with an emphasis on the in-depth coverage of syllabus.  This plan helps students know well in advance about the topics that are going to be taught.   This is a double advantage as students read those topics once at home and later listen to the lecturer.  Hence, it helps students prepare well for the examinations and acquire more knowledge for future career.  Lectures are delivered using LCD projectors and Animation developed by faculty themselves or downloaded from the websites of foreign universities. Invited lectures by eminent academicians and industrialists are also included. Even academicians as well as persons from industries are invited to give talks for the benefit of students.  Thus, micro level teaching plan, experimentally proven method, can provide a lot of information in teaching-learning process.
Engineering students need much exposure to industry related activities. To become an industry ready professional, every student must focus her attention on research work and other related areas. Guest lectures are a part of their continuous learning.  Professors and renowned professionals from diverse fields can share their ideas, latest trends and technologies. Such lectures will enlighten the young minds in taking right career path. At SVECW, professors from reputed institutions come and give their useful talks and provide a proper direction to students.  Workshops, Seminars and Extension Lectures are also conducted in all areas to provide a platform for cogitation and knowledge sharing. Renowned industrial and corporate professionals are invited to the campus to bring the practical and novel applications from the actual working environment and give extra input to the students on the most recent topics as well as the subjects which are relevant to their area of specialization.  All the HODs always aim at implementing novel ideas.  With the inclusion of Non-academic calendar in the regular time table, students are better exposed to various skills required for the industry.  Oral presentations and other related activities boost up students’ morale and make them more knowledgeable and communicative.  In every aspect, these lectures and activities will pave the way for their bright future.

Medha Milan

Symposia have a predominant role in technical education and the involvement of students is an important academic activity.  ‘Medha Milan’, being the convergence of women intellectuals, provides a better platform in attracting budding professional students for rendezvous, interaction and presentations among them who are from different places and have varied technical knowledge.  Here, lots of academic activities happen continually, making students involved in projects and presentations on different occasions.  Such programmes inspire, engage and empower in quest for technical knowledge acquisition.
