Fellow:Siddhartha Mondreti

Siddhartha Mondreti joined University Innovation Fellows in Spring 2017. He is an undergraduate pursuing Electronics and Communication Engineering from Godavari Institute of Engineering and Technology . He was just a “normal” student until he realised , that “The essence of learning is to make world better not to make it complex”. Soon after the realisation , he made his way towards Innovation. In this right time he got a chance to be a part of

University Innovation Fellows. Before he joined UIF , he was not aware that a student alone can become an entrepreneur and start his own  Non-  Profit Organisation. There was always a misconception for him that in order to be in a managerial role in an organisation , one needs to get graduated in that line. Soon after the realisation of his misconception , he made a drastic change in himself. He came with an empty bag to UIF , and loaded it with lots of experience , went back home very excited to make a change in his School. He jotted down many plans and ideated along with his team and came to the solution named “INNOGEN - An Innovative Generation for better India “

( A Non-Profit Organisation which enhances Design Thinking among Technical Students in India ). He also joined hands with Ajay Varma - UIF , SRKR to propagate Design Thinking through his startup - SpiderWeb.

Soon after starting his work , UIF gave him the role of “ Design Thinking Coach “ for his effort in propagating Design Thinking among Technical Students. Also Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation offered him a position of Student Networking Lead to promote Design Thinking. He is presently working for Amarawathi Innovation Fellows - an initiative by Andhra Pradesh Government to promote Technical and Design Thinking Skills among Students of Andhra Pradesh. He is also working on I2E International Institution for Entrepreneurship Development an initiative by Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation in collaboration withNorth-eastern State University , Boston , USA. Also , Godavari Institute of Engineering and Technology made a place for him as one of the” Navaratnas “ and President forStudent Activity Council of GIET. He also formed a technical club named “ECENTRA” for the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering.

His Technical interests includeInternet of Things , for which he has worked on Arduino and Python programming. He is now looking for a placement in the same domain. His ultimate aim is to become an Entrepreneur and to Re-Design Technical Education in India.

Entrepreneur :  One who adds value to everything in this world.
