Sagi Rama Krishnam Raju Engineering College(SRKREC) is a Co-educational,Autonomous and a self-Financed Engineering college. It is one of the Oldest Seminaries formed in 1980's by S.R.K.R.Engineering College Association to provide a better quality technical education to students. President Sri. S. Prasada Raju is carrying forward the vision of his father Late Sri Sagi Rama Krishnam Raju guiding the society on its path of excellence. The college is located with a  scenic beauty in a 30 acres plot in Chinna Amiram on Bhimavaram-Vijayawada state highway, It was well connected  with rail , road, and air transport that is well known as "Second Bardoli" and is famous for "Pancharamas"(somaramam).

                                                                                                                   The college has a cluster of beautiful and spacious buildings and spacious buildings with state of art laboratories,class rooms,Seminar halls and play grounds. Eco-friendly environment is developed in the campus with lot of greenery, landscape lawns and gardens. S.R.K.R.E.C. was established with a mission to develop the college into a centre of Excellence in the field of Technical Education, Capable of Training students as sound professionals to carter to the needs of the society in the fields of production and service sectors.The college holds 1st rank in the best colleges of Andhra Pradesh category.Recently, the college is Ranked as 73 in the TOP100 Engineering Colleges in India including IIT's and NIT's by Ministry of Human Resources Department,Govt. of India.S.R.K.R. Engineering College was established with a mission to develop the college into a centre of Excellence in the field of Technical Education, capable of training students as sound professionals to cater to the needs of the society in the fields of production and service sectors.

• ·   Offers6 UG Courses, 7 PG Courses and 5 Ph.D. Programmes.
• ·   Departments of Civil, ECE, EEE, IT & Mech. were recognized as research centers by affiliating university.
• ·    Was Accredited Thrice by National Board of Accredation (NBA).
• ·   Centres of Excellence namely Water and Environment Technology (WET) research Centre and Geospatial Information Centre(GIC)        are established.

• ·     Alumni have occupied very high positions at national and international level.

              

Student Entrepreneurship

SRKREC encourages and promotes the students to think innovatively and develop their entrepreneurship skills. SRKREC conducts many summits on career-guidance and inspiration of students, clubs of various departments organizes events to develop students entrepreneur, technical, and communicating skills. SRKREC also conducts short-term workshops for technical awareness, Tech centre offers various courses to develop technical and marketing skills and our through I-HUB provides support and encourage students to develop start-ups , I-HUB also conducts competitions like’ innovative’ to challenge innovative ideas in students.

Faculty Innovation and Entrepreneurship

SRKREC believes change have to come from faculty before students, the faculty members have various innovative ideas and does researches to get patents. In SRKREC, faculty of various departments have doctorates, most of professors and assistant-professors have PhD and encourage fellow faculty members to get their own. All faculty members have passion about their field of work. SRKREC encourages faculty by giving funds and required infrastructure to achieve their goal.  Faculty want to stood-up as an inspiration for students to think innovatively and pursue their passion.
