Sanuja Goonetilleke majors in Flute Performance and minors in Social Entrepreneurship and English at Converse College, a women's liberal arts college in South Carolina. As a University Innovation Fellow at Converse, her work focuses on introducing design thinking to performing, visual, and written arts students, promoting multi disciplinary collaboration across diverse disciplines, and developing innovative thought and action within the student body.In additon to winning national flute competitions and performing in orchestras and chamber ensembles in the US and Europe, Sanuja has worked in non profit management, concert productions, economic research, public relations, publishing, interfaith, and campus leadership in hopes of narrowing down "one" career path. Now, she has happily accepted the notion that it is indeed possible to be a flutist with diverse interests.
