Fellow:Ben Driscoll
University Innovation Fellows Spring 2015
Ben Driscoll is a freshman at Elon University. At Elon he is an Isabella Cannon Leadership Fellow majoring in Strategic Communications (PR & Advertising) with a minor in Human Service Studies and Leadership Studies. Ben grew up in Bedford, Massachusetts but is oringinally from Bucharest, Romania where he was adopted by his current family.
Ben is passionate about social justice, specifically for people with intellectual and developmental dissabilities. He has been a partcipant of the non-profit internation organization "Best Buddies" for more than 8 years. During his senior year at Bedford High School, he served as the President of the high school chapter. During his senior year the chapter won two awards, "2014 Best High School Chapter in MA" and "2014 National Outstanding High School Chapter of the Year." Addiontally, Ben is an avid runner and community service volunteer.
