Cohort 2025

Strategy 1: Cultivating an Accessible & Engaging Entrepreneurial Culture

Purpose

Foster a sustained culture of innovation and entrepreneurship across PUCP by making entrepreneurial learning visible, accessible, and aspirational. The project aims to inspire students from all disciplines to explore innovation as a mindset and career pathway through consistent, high-impact experiences on campus.

Timeframe

Flagship events hosted every two months.

Key Tactics

Event Young Ecosystem
  • Design and implement a flagship event series every two months that celebrates entrepreneurship at PUCP. Each edition will have a theme and feature multidisciplinary student participation.
  • Leverage the Open PUCP space (CIDE) as the central hub for all activities — combining keynotes, interactive workshops, and networking areas to create an immersive entrepreneurial experience.
  • Curate a high-caliber lineup of speakers including startup founders who have reached accelerators such as Y Combinator, raised capital, or are working in global companies like Apple, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, or top venture funds.
  • Feature PUCP students and alumni abroad (in top universities or startups) as guest speakers or panelists to highlight international perspectives and motivate peers through relatable success stories.
  • Incorporate interactive workshops and mini-sprints in every event (e.g., design thinking, storytelling for founders, pitch sessions) to help participants move from inspiration to execution.
  • Develop a sponsorship strategy with corporate allies, VC firms, and PUCP units to ensure long-term funding, branding visibility, and professional networking opportunities for students.
  • Create and maintain a participant database to track engagement, identify emerging leaders, and connect them with mentors, fellowships, or startup support programs.
  • Sustain the community digitally through WhatsApp, sharing speaker takeaways, learning resources, and upcoming events to build momentum between sessions.

Expected Outcomes

  • Establish a recognizable and recurring entrepreneurship culture within PUCP.
  • Build a cross-disciplinary community of students engaged in innovation and venture creation.
  • Strengthen connections between students, alumni, faculty and external innovators.
  • Position PUCP as a national reference in university entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystems.

Strategy 2: Enhancing Practical Skills & Experiential Learning

Purpose

Empower PUCP students to fast-track their entry into the global innovation ecosystem by combining intensive training, real-world startup experience, and exclusive access to venture capital networks. The program aims to cultivate a new generation of professionals fluent in the dynamics of startups, Venture Capital, and Corporate Venture Capital, equipped to lead and innovate in emerging industries.
