Bio

LaQuawne DePriest went to Armstrong High School while also participating in the school's martial arts club. He is now a student at Virginia State University's engineering and technology college. LaQuawne was born in Richmond, Virginia. He was presented the opportunity with three other cohorts of University fellows.

Achievements

LaQuawne graduated with honors, finishing in the top 100 of his class. He also earned an NCRA certificate in electricity and cabling, as well as a bronze medal in electrical and cabling competition . LaQuawne is now attempting to improve the computer science curriculum by incorporating project-based learning.
