==Bio==
My name is Tamara Wood, and I am is from the Bronx, New York. I am She is currently majoring in Sociology with a concentration in Criminal Justice. I decided to add She has always had a concentration to my major because I have always been passionate about for creating a better criminal justice system since being in high school. During my her freshman year at Shaw University, I she also decided to minor in African American Studies because I she wanted to expand on my knowledge of Black culture. At my her university, I am she currently serves as the chief of staff to the student body president. She is also the administrative assistant of the Minority Association for Pre-Health Students (MAPS). In my her free time, I enjoy she enjoys working out and trying to learn new things, such as doing my own hair and nails. I am She is also a part of a non-profit organization in the Bronx called Dear Black Girl. I She grew up as a mentee in this program, and now that I am older, occasionally I mentor she mentors other young girls and provide clerical work when needed as part of community service.
==Achievements==
During my freshman year at -Deans List (2021-22) Shaw University Presidential Scholar (2020-22) -Shaw University, I had my first research paper published on my schoolFounder's writing center blog. I also received the DeanGrant Recipient (2020-22) -Publication on Shaw University's list award for Fall semester 2021 for maintaining a 3.95 GPAWriting Center Blog (2020)
