Bio
Hi! I’m Amanda Khoury, a senior Biology major and Statistics minor at The College of New Jersey.
I currently serve as President of Tri-Beta (the Biological Honor Society), where I oversee the society’s operations and coordinate social, academic, outreach, and professional development events in collaboration with the TCNJ Biology Department to best support our students.
In addition, I conduct independent research on the fertility effects of microtubule modifications in C. elegans (a microscopic worm model), and I work at the TCNJ Library, where I assist patrons with retrieving scholarly materials and maintaining the library’s collection.
After graduation, I plan to pursue a Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics and Oncology, with the goal of conducting research that leverages genomic sequencing technologies to advance our understanding of disease mechanisms.
