Bio
Ty E. Sayahi is an Environmental Science major at Ithaca College, having transferred from Clark University in Spring 2025. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Ty has lived in 4 different states and 7 different towns. This, along with his family being composed of people from various countries, has given him a unique multicultural viewpoint, allowing him to better operate in diverse teams.
As a child, Ty participated in various sports (including Martial Arts, Track, and Baseball), though he also began teaching himself Systems Administration at age 8. Starting with an old laptop as a server, he worked up to enterprise gear by Middle School. Now, Ty studies Environmental Science, looking for unique human-environment interactions. Systems-level examinations of technology-environment interactions yield fascinating discoveries in both our technological impact on the environment and how our altered environment impacts us. Ty hopes to eventually run a business designing environmentally-conscious enterprise equipment.
