Bio
Hi, nice to meet you!
I am Amanda Khoury, a senior biology major and statistics minor at The College of New Jersey.
My main involvements include being the President of Tri-Beta (Biological Honor Society), conducting independent research, and working at my campus libraryǃ As Tri-Beta president, I direct the society's operations by organizing all of our social, academic, outreach, and professional development events. I work closely with the TCNJ biology department to ensure our events are relevant to the needs of our studentsǃ My independent research focuses on the fertility effects of microtubule modifications using C. elegans (microscopic worm). At the TCNJ library, I assist patrons by retriving scholarly material for pickup and maintaining the library collection.
After graduation, I plan to pursue my PhD in Molecular Genetics and Oncology with the aim of performing research using genomic sequencing technologies.
