Bio

Hello! I am Haruka Oizumi. I am fully Japanese, but I was born in Germany and raised in a total of five different cultures/countries including Germany, Japan, China, Hong Kong and Thailand. I go to Sophia University in Tokyo, Japan and I major in Global Studies. My faculty is called Sophia Program for Sustainable Futures (SPSF), and we look into the different global issues using the SDG goals. I am very passionate on gender issues including gender inequality and LGBTQ+ rights because these issues connect to my social identity. Other than that, as a personal hobby I enjoy horse riding and traveling!
