About Magann

Magann Dykema is a University Innovation Fellow from the Spring 2015 cohort. She is currently a first year student at Michigan Technological University. There, she is majoring in Civil Engineering with a focus on water resourcing. She is also a student in the Pavlis Honors College specifically the Pavlis Institute for Global Technological Leadership. She has gotten involved on campus through the Memorial Union Board, a student programming board, and her learning community's activities. She recently particated in Michigan Tech's LeaderShape. After going on multiple mission trips during her high school career, she has found that her passion is to help people around the world which led her to want to work in foreign relief and aid efforts after graduating in 2018. When she is not hard at work on things for school, she can be found striking it up on the lanes, skiing down the closest hills, or enjoying a book while sitting at the nearest beach.
