Here are our four Strategic Priorities followed by the Key Tactics required to bring this project to life.

1.Host Entrepreneurial for Non-Business School Students to Get More Engagement on Campus

  • Entrepreneurship Events targeting non-business student (ex. Focus week full of events, collaborative projects and competitions to increase engagement)
  • Host events in schools other than the business school to get more campus engagement
  • This could show students in other majors/schools that not all entrepreneurs come from business schools.

This Strategic Priority was developed by UIF Fellow Candidate, Ryan.

2.Increase Entrepreneurial Network

  • Reach out to potential alums and guest speakers
  • Plan the actual event (especially if it'll be cross departments)
  • Allow students to be more entrepreneurial within their class assignments
  • Normalize faculty collaborations

This Strategic Priority was developed by UIF Fellow Candidate, Spencer.

3.Increase Entrepreneurial Spirit on Campus

  • Create series of events, including a focus week throughout the year that is open for the gneral student body
  • Targeting Specific schools and programs by inviting entrepreneurship experience speakers to attend classes in specific fields (like music, theater, film, etc.)
  • Increase the amount of business pitch competitions, so students can go support getting funding and fixing a mentor and start their businesses, so that more students have start-up experiences during they time on college
  • Implement design thinking in classes across different departments
  • Create a series of videos of alumni of different departments who ended up creating innovations in their field and show the videos in class and/or invite them on campus for a combined class visit in Textor Hall

This Strategic Priority was developed by UIF Fellow Candidate, Vasilisa.

4.Increase Student Resources in Each Department, Encouraging Entrepreneurship

  • Working with the financial services office
  • Working with the giving day coordinators
  • Working with fundraising team at Ithaca

This Strategic Priority was developed by UIF Fellow Candidate, Jack.
