Martin Silva is a student at the Catholic University of Uruguay, currently pursuing his second degree, this time in Computer Science. After graduating from Business Administration, he transitioned entirely to this new field. This shift was not just academic; in his current job, he transitioned from leading the human resources department to becoming a programmer in a matter of months in order to pursue his newfound professional goals.

Martin Martin also has an entrepreneurial background, which sparked a significant interest in becoming a UI fellow. He was incubated at the university's innovation center (IthaKa), which supported his startup venture in 2020. While the project didn't thrive, his drive for innovation and unique approaches remains steadfast, always trying his hardest to achieve every challenge he is faced with. He is clear about his future aspirations: he wants to address and solve societal problems again. Additionally, he was one of the founding members of the university's entrepreneurship club back in 2019. Whenever time allows, Martin is always keen on hearing fresh ideas and attending as many related events as possible.
His double majoring in administration and engineering gives him a highly valuable approach to life, work, and business. Always provide a balanced view of the problems at hand and contribute to building the solution for it in the best ways.
