<div>Globsyn Skills as part of the diversified Globsyn Group, chaired by Bikram Dasgupta, a</div><div>stalwart of the Information Technology industry, with over 14 years 14years in skill development,</div><div>NSDC has a 22% shareholding of Globsyn Skills in the venture.</div><div>Its main programs and deployment are:</div><div>GOVERNMENT PROJECTS</div><div>PMKVY</div><div>PMKVY, with its thrust on skill development to build human capital for future markets is</div><div>sure to reap benefits for our economy. The new Policy and a Mission mode approach to</div><div>deliver results will usher in a new era in the development of human resources and industry.</div><div>The scheme will primarily focus on the first time entrants to the labour market and target</div><div>mainly drop outs from Class 10 and Class 12. The scheme will be implemented through</div><div>NSDC training partners.</div><div>STATE GOVT. PROJECTS</div><div>It is here that the Government’s policy measures and direct skill development initiatives</div><div>come to the fore. With deep commitment to the development of skilled resources in the</div><div>country, Globsyn Skills is working closely with a number of State Governments to help</div><div>implement their Skill development initiatives.</div><div>Various projects: NULM&nbsp;: Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, West Bengal</div><div>,SUDA&nbsp;: Sikkim, OSEMS&nbsp;: Odisha, NDLM: Chhattisgarh.<br/></div><div>FINISHING SCHOOL</div><div>Globsyn Finishing School is an extension of Globsyn’s training programs for engineers and</div><div>corporates. Globsyn understands the paradigm shift in the quality of professionals required by</div><div>the industry today, and the need for engineers to keep abreast with all new technology skills</div><div>and understand all facets of business. Globsyn Finishing School aspires to mould under-</div><div>graduate engineers into successful knowledge workers in the IT industry.</div><div>INDUSTRIAL TRAINING</div><div>With nearly two decades of training experience, Globsyn Skills brings to bear Globsyn’s deep</div><div>commitment to bridging the academic-industry divide and providing skill development and</div><div>enhancement trainings across a large section of domains.</div><div>Faculty Farm</div><div>In its effort to provide skills training globally to youth through faculty who are competent,</div><div>industry aligned and certified by SSC, Globsyn has initiated a Faculty Farm wherein</div><div>where in Globsyn’s faculty have already reached out to provide training in Bangladesh as a part of a</div><div>joint project with Ernst & Young (EY). For the first phase of the project, a group of six</div><div>trainers- three for .NET, two for Soft Skills and one for Java, have been assigned the task of</div><div>training Bangladeshi youth across several locations in that country. Globsyn has a plan to</div><div><br/></div><div>export 100 SSC certified trainers in 2015-16 and the next project is slated to start in Dubai</div><div>and thereafter spread to other locations internationally.</div><div>EDUSKILLS:&nbsp; links workplace with classrooms</div><div>There is a wide gap between the skills required in industry and those provided by the</div><div>education system. To bridge this gap Globsyn, with its background of continuous ‘Innovation</div><div>in Education’, has designed two courses:</div><div> Post Graduate Program in Management Skills.</div><div> Post Graduate Programme in Management-Human Resource.</div>
