Combining her passion for innovation and problem-solving with adaptability and connection-building skills, Alessa hopes to increase sustainable economic development in low and middle-income countries, ultimately fostering diplomatic relationships between governments, NGOs and civil society groups. 
Alessa is a dual-degree Master of Science Public Policy and Human Development (Foreign Policy and Development) candidate at the United Nations University-MERIT and Maastricht University School of Governance in the Netherlands. Her studies focus on analyzing critical issues and designing policy recommendations for developing countries using evidence-based policymaking tools geared towards sustainable economic development.
