Meenu is a University Innovation Fellow (Spring 2014) and works full-time at UMD's Academy of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Student Design Team where she works to bring innovation and entrepreneurship into the classroom and making real-world, hands-on experiences the paradigm for learning. A recent graduate (Spring 2014) with a Civil Engineering degree and Philosophy minor at the University of Maryland, College Park (UMD), Meenu spearheaded the formation of the Academy in the Fall of 2013, Meenu as a group of 20+ students from all disciplines that employ design thinking to shape the I&E landscape at UMD. Prior to that, she served as Vice President of Academic Affairs for the Student Government Association, where she works to empower students to shape their academic experience.
