Bio
Hi, I'm Ryan a dual-degree student at The College of New Jersey, pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science with a specialization in Cybersecurity and a B.A. in Criminology. I am passionate about bridging technical innovation with social impact, especially in areas where digital security intersects with public systems and policy.
At TCNJ, I conduct Cybersecurity and AI research. As a MUSE Research Fellow, I continued this work through an intensive summer program focused on making technical security reports more accessible to non-technical audiences. Beyond research, I serve as a Teaching Assistant and tutor in computer science and STEM subjects, supporting many students weekly through collaborative labs and one-on-one mentoring.
Outside the classroom, I led the development of Lifting Lads, a social fitness app that won Best Use of MongoDB at HackTCNJ 2025. I worked on the full stack application using React Native, Node.js, and MongoDB, and integrated APIs for generative AI and location services. This project showcased strengths in rapid prototyping, secure authentication, and team leadership.
I am committed to building systems that are secure, inclusive, and reproducible, whether in code, research, or campus initiatives.
