I am a huge fan of computer technology and am pursuing a BS in MIS (Management Information Systems). I decided to go to Oakwood University because it was an SDA, and HBCU and I wanted to meet people like me. On the plus side, it is far from home. After I graduated from Oakwood University in May of 2025, my career plan is to go back to school for my master's degree as of right now I do not know where yet, then work in my field and one day start my own technology company. I have recently taken on an interest in real estate and hope to get my license in that area. My greatest qualities are helping people, loyalty, honesty, and being very assertive. |

Hello, my name is Elizabeth Powell, I am a sophomore, and I am from South Florida as of right now, I live in Coconut Creek. I am a huge fan of computer technology and am pursuing a BS in MIS (Management Information Systems). I decided to go to Oakwood University because it was an SDA, and HBCU and I wanted to meet people like me. On the plus side, it is far from home.
