Isaac is a highly involved student at Texas Tech studying Computer Science. He has taken part in Isaac is a Software Engineer at Microsoft and help run 3 Day Startup a Research Assistant at TTU, Texas Tech University. When at Texas Tech University he was an undergraduate researcher and student organizer. He is currently working with the Computer Science department to implement an auto-grading system that will reduce former president of the workload for professors and TAs, Software Development Club at Texas Tech as well as allow the department to implement more labs that will help students build a solid base of experience to expand onTexas Tech Innovation Mentorship & Entrepreneurship organization.
He found The Software Development Club grew from a group of casual collaborators to several teams that adhered to rigorous industry standards. At the end of his interest in I&E when working on tenure he helped organize a startup in India merger with a friend, where they did contract software developmentthe local ACM chapter. Although Many of the students who were heavily involved in the venture eventually failedSoftware Development Club have gone on to successful careers (including several who went to companies like Google, not only did he learn to code during that timeMicrosoft, but he also picked up a number of management and design thinking skills that help him to this dayor strong startups).
He has taken part in and helped run 3 Day Startup at TTU, and attempted to get the computer science department to use an auto-grading system for programming assignments. He has also worked with the department to suggest a new elective course that would give students more hands-on problem solving experience (based on 80 student responses saying they wanted the course). His software development experience includes game development, machine learning, data science, and working with the Linux kernel.
