Currently studying Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Energy Engineering. Nelson hopes to accumlate knowledge from several fields from Mechanical Engineering through coursework, Information Technology/Electrical through working at SalukiTech Service Center, and Leadership/Industrial Management and Engineering through the Leadership Development Program. All in combination to produce an excellent individual with the capability to solve complex problems with the ability to view from multiple perspectives/disciplines. Currently using multiple skills in projects such as SIU Robotics team as he is a Team Lead on the Drone Team and revitializing and modernizing SIU's College of Agriculture's Green Roof. Nelson Fernandes
