Maria Josefina Martinez is a University Innovation Fellow and she is an electronic engineering student at Universidad Católica del Uruguay. Once she finishes this career, she wants to study Industrial Design.
Josefina considers herself to be a big dreamer, with huge goals. Since she was a little girl, she always came up with crazy ideas to solve common daily problems. Currently, she wants to develop and carry out these ideas, and this was one of the reasons why she decided to postulate for the UIF program.
During her spare time, she loves doing sports and spending time with her family. Also, she created a community for rescuing dogs in her neighbourhood, and she spends her Saturdays teaching catechesis at the “Salesiano de la Costa”.
She firmly believes that daring to experiment new things is the best way to learn what is best for each person.
