Zahrah Abdulrauf is currently a student at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. After completing the Young Entreprenuers Academy and recieving $2000 in investor funding for her venture "AAA Learning Center" in 2017, she became a National Saunders Scholars Semifinalist and pitched in front of a panel of inestors at the Rochester Institute of Techology. Following this, she competed in Google Startup Weekend in Mobile, AL, with her team placing 1st overall with their project idea "Looga" - a language learning software for kids. In 2018, Zahrah completed UAB's Commercialization Accelerator and teamed up with Fledging, a Birmingham, AL tech startup specializing in creating hardware for Apple computers, as their Executive Creative Director. Zahrah Abdulrauf is also actively involved with her campus' chapter of Women in STEM as their Publicity and Graphic Design Coordinator, as well as PERIOD's - an organization for women's health outreach and awareness - VP of Communications.
