Murad has been the Vice President of the Mechanical American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Apartment Coordinator in Flynn Hall, , and a Page scholar. Other leadership roles he has served in include: , a BUSN200 Facilitator, the Journey for justice student assistant, as well as and an  </span></span><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">Apartment Coordinator in Flynn Hall</span><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;  font-size: large;">. Outside of school, Murad enjoys volunteering at the Boys & Girls Club of the Twin Cities. Murad is very passionate about issues pertaining to education and civil rights.</span></span>
