I am a 22 year old engineering student from the Netherlands. I was born in the United States and have a strong desire to make an impact. I believe that humanity is smart enough to solve every problem we face by cooperating, courageous, and innovative.
As a teaching assistant I experienced a lot of students struggling with their education and set myself the goal to inspire people to get the most out of themselves.
I got to see a different kind of education during my time as an engineer and external relations manager in a student team building hydrogen cars. One where learning is not done via lectures in classrooms but with real life problems. Collaborating with companies to create something extraordinary.
